Crypto portfolio update

Comments: The big news this week was all about major TradFi institutions entering the crypto space, starting with Blackrock filing for a Bitcoin ETF:

This is undoubtedly a good development because it means institutional money will likely fuel the next bull cycle.

To no one's surprise, BTC quickly rallied upon the news (to $30k), and many big CT influencers are now calling for higher prices (as high as $40k):

So the short-term outlook is understandably bullish... but there are major macroeconomic headwinds in the way.

After all, the Fed is calling for two more rate hikes this year, employment numbers are worsening, and a recession is looming.

If I had to guess, therefore, I think we'll see higher prices in the short term but that now is not the time to go all-in and hodl.

My approach during this period is thus to trade tactically rather than invest strategically. When conditions start favouring the latter style, I'll be happy to switch.

With hero prices dropping to all-time lows (in USD terms), building a 3-hero team has never been more affordable.

So while I'm not keen on investing in Jewel at this time, I don't mind throwing a few bucks at some heroes to build a team or two.

On this note, I've been checking out the hero skill trees and have identified synergies between some of the skills and active/passive traits... and I'll be looking to put out some videos on this topic.
