Comments: I wanted to wish everyone a happy new year but so far 2025 has been anything but happy for crypto holders -- Over the past few days Bitcoin dropped -11% and printed a new yearly low, while most altcoins puked -20% to -30%.

The good news is if you don't think this is the cycle top (I don't), this dip is a good opportunity to add to high conviction spot positions.

Q1 is historically a bullish quarter for crypto and with Trump stepping into the White House in ten days, it's likely for altcoins to trade significantly higher a month or two from now.

In summary, I'm not too concerned about this selloff and am comfy with my altcoin holdings.

The time to sell will come but we're nowhere near that yet.

🤲 Hodl season

We've survived a brutal bear market and waited 3 years to get to this point: alt season incoming.

The instinct then is to start trading actively and chasing pumps.

In my experience however, a better approach is to identify a trend that is not (yet) in fashion, buy a low cap, high quality coin within that trend, and just hodl.

The two most common ways to screw up alt season are:

1. Getting liquidated on a leveraged position
2. Chasing coins after they've pumped

I've said many times before not to use leverage in crypto but people will inevitably miss a pump, try to make up for it by using leverage, and get liquidated on a pullback.

This warning is especially relevant as altcoins rally this year. When people experience fomo they'll take increasingly dangerous risks to compensate for not placing their bets early.

The last 3 years have provided ample time for us to separate high quality altcoins apart from trash-tier shitcoins. All we need to do now is buy those with the best risk-reward profile and sit on our hands.

When a bull market is underway, the worst thing we can do is interrupt it by constantly adjusting our portfolio.

🤜 Arcane season 2

Arcane is hands down one of the best series I've ever watched.

I was late getting into the second (and final) season, but boy am I glad I didn't miss it.

Some of my friends don't normally watch anime or any sort of animated series, and even they loved Arcane.

If you haven't caught it yet, do yourself a huge favour and give it a shot.
