Crypto portfolio update
Net return: 612.8%
Comments: The latest CPI number came out higher than expected, raising interest rate expectations for the next Fed meeting.
Risk assets (unsurprisingly) fell hard upon the news, and crypto was no exception.
The macro outlook bodes poorly for crypto, and it's increasingly likely that we'll see new lows in this bear market.
The good news is that every crisis presents an opportunity, and my portfolio is ready to DCA should prices fall further.
For now, there isn't much else to do but be patient and tread carefully. The time to go full risk-on is not yet here.
The merge was successful and Ethereum is now operating on a proof-of-stake consensus.
Many believed the merge would result in a price rally, but they turned out to be wrong (the majority usually is).
The merge turned out to be a negative event for the price of ETH, and I think the overall bearish sentiment will take hold again before long.
With the merge now over, what's the next big narrative?
This is something I'll be keeping an eye out for. Private group members will be the first to receive updates on this front.
Dave Chappelle speech
Dave Chappelle is one of my favourite comedians, and his acceptance speech for the 2019 Mark Twain prize is a work of art.
I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did.
