Comments: It's been a tiring couple of weeks "in the trenches" as a whole slew of new memecoins were launched following the high profile TRUMP coin.

People saw TRUMP as a presidential endorsement of memecoins and nefarious actors jumped on the opportunity to go all out to scam as many people as they can with new launches.

There were varying levels of unethical and criminal activity (undisclosed KOL allocations, pump and dump, fraud, insider trading, etc) and it'll take too much time to talk about all of them, so if you're interested you can dig deeper into these: MELANIA, TST, BROCCOLI, CAR, ENRON, JAILSTOOL, GREED/GREED2.

The most notable (and criminal) among these is LIBRA, which involved various parties in the Solana ecosystem and ALL the unsavoury activities mentioned above. In case you're unaware, LIBRA is the coin "announced" by Argentine president Javier Milei.

This scandal has unmasked what goes on behind most memecoin launches. People had their suspicions before but with the details now so clearly outlined, I doubt many will continue betting on these memecoins - No one wants to roll a dice so unfairly rigged.

So it's likely that the memecoin narrative is done for the foreseeable future. I do not want to be holding any memecoins right now and do not envy those that are.

As far as I'm concerned, the prior 2 popular sector (A.I. and memecoins) are out of fashion and will take time before possibly taking the spotlight again.

Until then, there are better altcoin sectors to be allocating into and I'm betting on RWAs.
